Denise demonstrates going beyond just thinking about it, to actually doing it. Her clients are encouraged to do the same. The greatest thing is that both coach and client get to work with tried systems and strategies to support your progress to creating the life you choose.

Denise is open-minded, intuitive, nonjudgmental, and has mastered the art of assertive communication. This is reflected in her coaching style and no frills approach that allows her to easily help you cut through your story, get to the core issues and move forward.

Denise's upbringing in country South Australia provided her with a full understanding of the issues often borne in smaller communities. The feeling of isolation; lack of privacy; the sense of having to conform to conservative, strong family, farming and community views, expectations and constraints, and successional farming, to name just a few. While Denise enjoys coaching clients from all walks of life, her passion is for clients in rural areas.

On leaving school, the Police Department sounded appealing, so after two years of training, she graduated to the school of hard knocks, dealing with life on the city streets, experiencing the hidden side of our communities, both dark and light. Denise quickly utilized and developed her personable skills, helping people, in times of crisis or conflict and on a community level. After eight years and feeling stifled in this para-military organization, her free spirit moved her on.

Turning back to her passion for nature she ventured into the florist industry spanning 18 years. Denise purchased an existing business, the success of which motivated her to open two more. Once again Denise began helping others, now her staff and customers. She began to understand that while leadership and business management were great skills, she actually thrived on sharing other people's joy, anxiety, sadness and grief. Her training as a 'road-side counselor' with the Police Dept was invaluable.

Denise loves the dynamics of her blended family, with a wonderful supportive husband, two teenage boys and grown up bonus twin daughters who have been with them since the age of four. Besides coaching, Denise and her husband own and manage two international student accommodations, and actively invest in property renovation and development.
